They almost didn't get the rematch, though, as they narrowly beat Lake Mills in the semifinal on Wednesday. They trailed by one at halftime, but outscored Lake Mills by seven in the third quarter. They were then held to just six points in the fourth, but two of those came with just six seconds left as Kannon Still hit a jumper to give the Defenders the thrilling win.

The Lynx had a much easier time in their semifinal. They were down two after one, but a big second quarter gave them a five-point lead at halftime.
They would extend the lead to eight after three and left no doubt in the fourth quarter and got the 67-51 victory. They were led by Mason Bechen who scored a game-high 32 points.
It was the 12th straight win for the Lynx and improved their record to 25-1 on the season.
